Short films, Home, The House That Is Not There and Ugwumpiti capture child migrant experiences of belonging and settlement, civil war and returning ‘home’. Child Migrants Welcome? explores experiences of welcome including Syrian children and their teachers on the Isle of Bute. Followed by open discussion and music by Maurice Nwokeji.

Award winning Child Migrant Stories captures the experiences of people who have migrated to the UK from 1930 to the present day under the age of 18. Their dedicated website and short films have been co-produced with child migrants drawing on their creative skills. Based on collaborative research between Queen Mary University of London and V&A Museum of Childhood.
